Finally! A game that simulates (partially) the joy and beauty of applying for jobs. In Apply Yourself, you take on the role of a mild-mannered job seeker trying to find employment in the twenty-first century. Using cutting edge A.I. and your own wits, grind your way to the top and secure that all-important interview.

This game was made in ten days for GB Jam 13, with the theme of 'UNLUCKY'. Rather than explore black cats and broken mirrors, Apply Yourself focuses on the role of luck in landing a job. Experience the pleasure of a game with essentially no skills-based mechanics, in which one wrong answer can cost you a job application. Talk about unlucky!
